Theflyingscottie, Trackattack and Ilviz are the trio to look out for and Ilviz gets the nod. Ollie Pears' charge ran an eyecatching British debut over course-and-distance and the handicapper has certainly given him a chance if he can build upon that effort. Theflyingscottie has alwasy threatened to win races. He's workmanlike if not quite able. Trackattack had little chance over an inadequate trip last time out. Mighty Kitchener has questions to answer after a couple of below par efforts. Winter Cruise has fallen some way down the handicap and as an inmate from a shrewd yard any money is noted. Sir Sandicliffe won off a mark of 52 at Wolverhampton and wouldn't have to work too much harder to win this. Medeival Maiden has the ability to win this but much seems to rely in his mind. Ilviz has to be taken on trust with regard to his ability to reproduce form but this isn't the toughest of events to get home in.
