Verdict

Dandy Flame has done better when sent over an extra furlong here and at Lingfield and, though likely to be finishing strongly, may find PRUFROCK too quick. David Simcock's charge hasn't made the expected progress after a fine start but may still be capable of better and looks an alternative to the likely favourite. Wentwell Yesterday ran poorly over 7f last time but his earlier efforts over this trip put him in the picture while Pulsating is the only course and distance winner in the line-up, though that was in a seller.
