In depth

Verdict

Plenty with claims in this including recent winner Maypole, who scored over a similar distance at Chepstow. Soldiers Bay ran well in this grade at Goodwood on his return while Angelina D'Or was placed at Kempton last week having won a maiden at Lingfield earlier. But EPAULEMENT was beaten only a head by Adjutant in novice company over track and trip recently and given the latter is now rated 88, Tom Dascombe’s charge should figure on his handicap debut. Affina, Pheidippides and Bin Daahir are others with plenty of scope in an open affair.
