In depth

Verdict

John Ferguson's novices continue to carry all before them and HADFIELD should be another winner for the Suffolk handler if taking to hurdles. He ran well in a couple of middle-distance maidens on the Flat in the spring for Andre Fabre. Dylan's Storm won over 7f on the Flat but may have stamina issues and Big McIntosh may have stronger claims given he stayed 1m2f on the level. Champagne Ransom was the only one backed against the selection's stablemate Leoncavallo at Stratford but was well beaten.
