Verdict

Likely looking newcomer MOSSLEY may be able to send the hopes of Arthur's Pass' supporters south with My Idea possibly the most interesting of the remainder. Nicky Henderson's record in bumpers has been well advertised and Mossley is sure to be a warm order with Tony McCoy engaged to do the steering for the Old Vic gelding's racecourse bow. He has had one start between the flags in Ireland and was in front when falling at the last but should make amends with no obstacles in his way this time. Arthur's Pass was well backed on debut over course and distance and went close but found a Henderson newcomer too strong on that occasion and may find that it's a case of deja vu. Solid credentials appear fairly thin on the ground elsewhere with Johann Sabestian refusing to race last time but one of the more interesting runners is My Idea who looks the part on paper and may fare better on this quicker ground but it's hard to get away from Mossley.
