Verdict

This isn't a bad contest for the time of year and Philip Hobbs runs two with Richard Johnson partnering Ballytober, who is eased in grade. The Potting Shed probably needed last month's run at Cheltenham and has a chance on his form in the autumn while the enigmatic Larks Lad could be interesting reunited with A P McCoy. Tara Rose steps up in trip but the mare is back on a winning mark and can't be ignored. Dreams Of Milan finished ahead of Houndscourt at Wetherby in December but the latter has always looked the type to make a chaser and may be a better long-term prospect. It might be worth forgiving YOUNG HURRICANE a poor run at Southwell as he's a consistent sort overall and has a chance of ending a frustrating sequence in this.
