Make Haste Slowly can add to his recent success, with Snipe, Whispered Secret and Houseparty out to stop him. The opening race on the evening card looks fairly competitive, with the aforementioned quartet all lining up in form. Make Haste Slowly was driven out to score over the course and distance last month, overcoming a sloppy jump at the last in the process. Henry Daly's charge was gaining his first ever success on only his fifth racecourse appearance and connections have decided to let him try and defy a penalty here before putting him out to grass for the rest of the summer. He is due to go novice chasing but has the scope to rattle up another win here under similar conditions to last time. Snipe won easily enough at Uttoxeter last time but will do well to defy a double penalty, while Whispered Secret, also anchored with the same burden, should appreciate the step up in trip here. House Party won a conditional riders event over track and trip last time and may be involved somewhere along the line, but Make Haste Slowly can learn quickly to add to his tally.
