Verdict

Kopylova comes here on the back of a win at Newton Abbot but we side with FLAG FLIER to get the better of her in this contest whilst Eastwell Smiles has experience over this sort of trip and is an alternative. The selection was twenty one lengths behind the victor last time out but her stamina should have come on for that experience and that may be crucial to outlasting her rivals. She looks to be improving this year and she could lose her maiden tag in this contest. The Richard Phillips trained six-year-old Eastwell Smiles has yet to win from twenty starts but has plugged on over this distance at Fontwell earlier on in the year and could find assistance from first time blinkers and tongue strap. Kopylova won nicely on her seasonal bow but this is a tougher test on the stamina and will need to find extra reserves in this contest to repeat her success. We side with Flag Flier to fly the flag for punters and win.
