Verdict

If a summer on the schooling grounds has cured Qualypso D'Allier's jumping woes then he has claims in a race where few boast solid credentials but the hopeful vote's awarded to FLEMISH INVADER. He didn't live up to the early promise of his chase debut at Perth but he was well backed on that occasion and may be worth another chance with another year on his back and his yard making their customary strong start to the season. Autumn Red has stronger claims than most but has yet to win a race of any description and of more interest at the likely prices are Dunkelly Castle and Backfromthecongo but both look vulnerable to improvers. Kilshannig, No More Whispers and Byways Boy have all had sufficiently few opportunities to be broadly covered by that description and, hopefully, the market can help us to sort the wheat from the chaff.
