In depth

Verdict

Bob Keown ran a cracking race in a decent handicap at Punchestown at the beginning of last month. He's climbing the weights but a similar effort here will put him right in the firing-line. Princely Player hasn't really sparkled since returning to hurdles but On The Bridge has been holding his own in better company and has already won three times around here. The handicapper has certainly given Red Not Blue a chance but he hasn't won for a while and isn't getting any younger. FOGGY'S WALL had the returning Victor Leudorum behind when only beaten a short-head by Gores Island at Plumpton. A further step up in trip promises to suit so he is taken to go one better today.
