Verdict

This was won last year by the useful Rene’s Girl and Dan Skelton will be hoping stablemate Desirable Court can follow up. However, she has a penalty following a walk-over at Warwick and a few of these have just as much scope over fences. KALAHARI QUEEN would have preferred softer going but she won twice over hurdles last season and was second in a Grade 2 handicap at Newbury in March when doing best of those near the top of the weights. She might be the one to beat though Majestic Moll won around here over the smaller obstacles in August and is another nice prospect. Black Tulip was behind the selection at Newbury and is worse off at the weights.
