A difficult race to solve and GO FREE is put up as a token alternative to Knightsbridgelives and Amazing Request. It has been a long time since John O'Shea's gelding got his head infront but the handicapper has dropped him massively from his heyday and he is at least proven on this evening's going. Knightsbridgelives never fulfilled his earlier potential when trained by Alan King. Lawney Hill seems to have sweetened him up though our suspicion is that he might be better over further. Amazing Request has solid enough form at this grade and has placed twice in two recent plating events at Newton Abbot. Abuharith is tried in first time cheekpieces though is still yet to get off the mark. Kaliski makes his debut for John Flint so must be watched in the market. Similarly comments applying to Be Ashored, who is dropped dramatically into selling company having made no show in novice events this summer. Pavanne had showed some ability on the flat for Tommy Stack so all hopes rely on improvement for a switch away from the testing conditions he has previously raced upon. Go Free is our best guess in a trappy affair.
