Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A puzzling affair as all five have claims but it's not hard to harbour doubts about them all. Risk A Fine, something of a tearaway over timber, scored well enough on his chasing debut at Market Rasen and may prove more amenable over the larger obstacles, whilst Rothman faded rather tamely first time over fences but should appreciate this drop in trip. Street Entertainer, useful over hurdles, disappointed in not being able to land a three-runner chase first time over fences. The remaining pair haven't jumped a fence in public and Shantou Tiger will need to be in a better place than has been the case the last twice over hurdles but GARNOCK makes some appeal. Obviously, much depends on how he takes to his new discipline but he jumped really well over timber at Fontwell last August when looking a chaser in the making. He's a risk first time up after a break but is a hopeful selection in a race making limited punting appeal.
