Verdict

Rate Of Knots has produced her best efforts when the emphasis has been placed on stamina and she must be worth a try over this trip on good ground. Maraafeq became disappointing after winning at Ludlow last season, though is potentially well treated, while Double The Trouble has paid the price for wins at Leicester and Southwell in March. King Ozzy is better than he showed at Newton Abbot last month but RESTEZEN D'ARMOR would probably still have beaten Macauley at Bangor on his reappearance had that rival not unseated his rider and appears a reformed character. With his yard still in cracking form, he should prove hard to beat again.
