Verdict

The last three winners of this have started at 16/1, 20/1 and 14/1 so the market won't necessarily be the best guide. Only one three-year-old has won in the last five years but the Westerner gelding The Linksman is bred for the job and could be thereabouts. Earth Legend comes from solid jumping stock and is preferred to stablemate Indian Brave. Horseguardsparade and Ballyandy will be expected to pay their way but this can go to CRAZY PENGUIN, a son of Milan and a half-brother to three winning jumpers including the useful Fox Appeal.
