    Verdict

Osmosia put a couple of poor efforts behind her when second over C&D last month, ahead of Tram Express, but she's been put up a pound since. Cruise Control would have claims on his Flat form but remains a maiden under Rules after 28 starts, while Cardinal James has found at least one too good in all of his 16 races so far. Maid Of Silk won at Uttoxeter in May, however, and has been dropped 5lb since her last run but there is probably more to come from VIVIANI and it's Amanda Perrett's four-year-old that gets the vote. He's only had three runs over hurdles and was placed in six of his 12 outings on the level, suggesting he may have the ability to defy top weight in this.
