In depth

Verdict

Poisoned Berry sets a decent standard and is probably the one to beat. She has finished second in both races so far at Wetherby and Newbury, though this will be the fastest ground that she's encountered. Oscar Rose is a half-sister to three winning jumpers and is one to note for the future but, in a race in which the four-year-olds could dominate, we'll take a chance on RAVELOE. Harry Fry's filly is by leading NH sire Midnight Legend and her half-sister Spirit Of Kayf won an Ayr bumper on debut last year.
