In depth

Verdict

A P McCoy was on board when Hawaii Five Nil scored at Catterick in February in very heavy conditions but is claimed for El Macca here. The champion rode Rebecca Curtis' charge on his comeback here three weeks ago and the combination were in touch until fading from the last. Jonjo O'Neill also runs It's A Doddle but he'll need to brush up his jumping after falling on his last two starts in the spring. COMMITMENT returned to action during the summer with three very good runs including two victories, the latest over the course and distance. He's been raised 8lb but that doesn't look enough to prevent another success. King Massini won three times over fences at the backend of last year and can revert to hurdling on an 11lb lower mark so he's not out of this despite a big weight.
