In depth

Verdict

This looks to be quite a competitive contest in which Cool Chilli, Apadi and Kercabellec are the leading players and the vote is given to Apadi. The selection would have won at Kelso last time had he not unseated his rider three from home, and granted a clear round here he looks to have an obvious chance. Cool Chilli has run into some form recently and after winning at Catterick he put up another decent effort at Huntingdon when third behind Green Gamble. Kercabellec will relish the return to 2m after failing to get home over a longer trip at Market Rasen last time when he was fourth behind Major Euro. However, he is not the most fluent jumper and he looks opposable on that basis. Amptina looks to be out of sorts at present and looks worth taking on, but the opposite would apply to Apadi who is given the vote.
