Top weight Science Academy has an obvious chance off just a 3lb higher mark than when second in a Folkestone handicap last time but is more exposed than Habitual, who gets the vote over A Monk Swimming. The selection showed improved form for the step up in trip last time and, with further improvement to come, Sir Mark Prescott's gelding gets the nod in a poor contest. Neville Callaghan's Kalamansi and Jonathan Jay's Scott are similarly lightly raced horses who also have to be respected but a bigger threat may come from A Monk Swimming, who is closely matched with Science Academy on running at Folkestone and receives plenty of weight. The consistent Vanilla Moon and Amanda Perrett's Royal Starlet are others worthy of a mention, while a market move for Mad Maurice would be of interest but the vote goes to Habitual.
