      Verdict

      Absent Amy has won twice on the Polytrack this year but may not be able to reproduce that form back on Turf and is probably high enough in the weights now. Greyfriarschorista isn't badly treated but runs the odd stinker, as he did at Newmarket last time. However, he still finished ahead of Jamaica Grande and also has the beating of Jonnie Skull on earlier July course running so can't be ignored. FANTASY GLADIATOR is possibly better over 7f but has run well in both starts here this year. A repeat of his latest second to Excuse To Linger makes him the one to beat.
