In depth

Verdict

Support for That Look would be fascinating in a race where Any Given Moment and Free Falling appear to hold solid claims but we'll take a chance with UNCLE KEEF. The selection caught the eye on his reappearance at Folkestone when not really appearing to enjoy the run of the race but he has failed to build on that in two subsequent outings on the all-weather, including in cheekpieces last time. He wears blinkers today which will hopefully make the difference along with the return to racing on turf and see him improve on Marcus Tregoning's impressive strike rate at the track. That Look didn't run that well in a Hunter Chase last month but he's only 2lbs higher than when scoring over course and distance in 2008 and hails from a yard that's capable of having him ready. Any Given Moment, Mediterranean Sea and Free Falling hold more obvious claims having scored last time out although the last two named both have to prove their stamina for this trip. Astroleo and Broughtons Point are two more worthy of mention in a hotly contested heat in which we're going to take a chance with Uncle Keef.
