ALEQA won over C&D in August. She's 3lb higher now but Danny Brock's claim more than compensates for the extra and Chris Wall's filly can reverse earlier running with Rough Rock en route to recapturing the winning thread here. Layla Jamil has already won at Chester and Newcastle this year and could easily bounce back to form with Paul Hanagan taking over the reins, while Quarrel was a promising third on his belated reappearance at Newmarket and is another for the short-list. Wolverhampton maiden winner Tanmawy has more on his plate here, however, and Celestyna has twice run poorly at the track. Darcey and Captain Macarry may be best of the rest.
