Whiteoak Lady can win this as long as conditions remain on the soft side with Mistress Cooper preferred if the ground dries out. Hurricane Harriet and Artistic License are obvious dangers. John Spearing's filly loves to get her toe in and she made the most of her preferred conditions when battling on bravely at Haydock. The first two finished clear of the third, the opposition was tougher and a penalty may not be enough to stop her. Mick Channon saddled the second that day and it's interesting that he allows Artistic License to take her chance. She's been running well of late but has yet to show any form with cut in the ground. Mistress Cooper has been campaigned solely on fast ground since debut and she is of definite interest on the pick of her form in this company but a poor run does need to be forgiven. In contrast, Hurricane Harriet comes here on the back of a personal best but this company is more exacting and Whiteoak Lady will be a tough nut to crack.
