Colorus won this off 3lbs higher last year but ground conditions are likely to be entirely different and recent efforts don't suggest we're about to see a repeat. Instead we'll side with DORIC LADY, who wasn't beaten far in a better race here last time and races off the same mark as when scoring at Lingfield at the back end of 2009. She's won at Yarmouth and could be about to do so again, perhaps by accounting for Angus Newz. She's a likeable mare who can be hard to pass on this ground but despite a good effort at Leicester she looks high enough in the weights on this season's form. Luscivious needs cut to be seen to his best and is considered along with Canadian Danehill who goes well for Frankie, while Magical Speedfit is a Brighton specialist and Equuleus Pictor hasn't done enough to earn the vote despite favourable conditions.
