MAGICAL SPEEDFIT is given the narrow vote to land this competitive handicap with both Total Impact and Whiskey Junction worthy of mention. The selection caught the eye on his latest start after finishing second to Corton Charlemagne at Folkestone last time out. He has been kept busy by his trainer during the summer and has now dropped to what looks like a winnable mark. He gets another chance off running of the same mark as he did last time out and with conditions once again in his favour he is sure to give his supporters another run for their money. Total Impact has a six pound penalty to carry after winning at Doncaster last time out. Connections are keen to take advantage of his current mark of 82 and with that in mind he warrants respect. Whisky Junction landed back to back victories at Bath and Kempton and was not beaten far at Lingfield on his latest start so is another to add to the short list. Magical Speedfit looks well treated on his best form and with conditions in his favour he is worth staying on the right side of.
