Verdict

Clinical has won three times at this level but her victory in a Group 3 at Epsom in June means she carries a penalty here and is conceding 8lb and upwards to her rivals. Emirates Queen's run at Salisbury was too bad to be true as she'd only been beaten a neck by Barefoot Lady at York previously when Firdaws was behind. A better effort is expected here while Dalkova and Sweetnessandlight should be threatening the places along with Aniseed. Sir Henry Cecil won this last year with the older filly Principal Role and looks to hold all the aces again with TIMEPIECE. Runner-up in the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood, when Clinical was behind, she finished within a length-and-a-half of the brilliant Snow Fairy in a Group 1 at Deauville last month and there is nothing of her calibre among these. Sunday Bess won on her reappearance at Bath but this is a huge leap in class and Qaadira may also be out of her depth.
