In depth

Verdict

Sunny Sprite and Here And Now are two interesting newcomers, but we will side with Errigal Lad, Heavenly Saint is also expected to run well. The selection wasn't beaten far on his Redcar debut and is open to plenty of improvement. He was doing his best work at the end having started pretty slowly and he looked a certain future winner. Mick Channon provided the winner that day and he is represented here by Heavenly Saint. She is no stable star but has shown plenty of promise in two races to date and should be involved in the finish. Sunny Sprite may be the best of the newcomers. James Eustace often pops up with a decent juvenile and any money for this one should be taken seriously. The market should also give clues to the chances of Here And Now and the once raced Lady Cobra, but Errigal Lad has the form in the bag and he gets our vote.
