In a competitive finale, Norcroft is suggested over Wadnagin and Kennington. Basically, these sprinters tend to win in their turn and, based on his form of a year ago, course and distance winner Norcroft cannot be ruled out of a good run. Maybe it's his turn today. Viewforth and Digital come here as recent winners although their penalties will make life a little tougher, but Wadnagin is lightly raced and caught the eye last time so it's likely she has better to come. Given that she is weighted to get the better of Viewforth based on recent Beverley form, where she was poorly drawn, Miss Daawe cannot be ruled out of things. Xalted is lightly raced enough to be given some thought, while Lost All Alone is weighted to reverse all-weather form with her. Finally, the lightly-raced Shaded Edge has to be of some interest on his Turf debut and Monashee Prince is well-weighted based on his form of a year ago, as is Kennington, and the three-time course and distance winner Gone 'N' Dunnett's chance cannot be dismissed. As we say, it's wide open with the selection being Norcroft.
