    Verdict

Daring Guest ended last year with a victory on the Polytrack at Lingfield and is 3lb higher on his reappearance. THE SPOTLIGHT KID included this race in a course and distance double last season and having gone close at Newbury when last on the Turf, Dean Ivory’s charge may prove the one to side with. Both Split Elevens and Seattle Time finished third on their latest starts though neither looked like winning and the latter makes his handicap debut.
