Richard Hannon won this last year but Keep Calm hasn't shown enough to be carrying top weight to victory. At the other end of the weight scale, Garmelow Girl has shown ability though Kevin Ryan looks to have a better chance with Panama Cat who was battling on over 6f at Catterick last time. Perseverent Pete could only stay on at one pace over 7f at Brighton but at least he's suited to heavy ground and the longer trip should be a help but this can go to PRECISION STRIKE. Richard Guest's charge had shown glimpses of ability before gaining a shock victory on his first start over this trip at Nottingham last week and, though penalised 6lb, he doesn't appear to have any more to do.
