In depth

Verdict

Balgair has done really well since joining Tom Clover last August with his official rating having risen from 65 to 78. He is interesting off the bottom rung here but is raised in grade again and may find a couple too good. Bint Dandy's last three wins have all come here and Petrus would have a shout at his best while Daira Prince has been shrewdly placed to produce a career strike rate of 4-10. He is an obvious contender but BREDEN impressed with the style of his win at Newbury and is taken to repeat the dose as a straight mile on good to firm is ideal. My Target is better on the all-weather while Maverick Officer has somewhat gone off the boil the last twice, though earlier performances in the campaign put him in here with a decent claim.
