A very classy race for this time of the season and we like the look of Bowstring, with Fling and Corrine just two of many dangers. John Gosden's filly is relatively lightly raced and put up her best performance to date when a close up third to Echoes In Eternity in the Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster. That was a much improved performance and she could still be on the upgrade. Fling was very impressive when scoring on her debut back in April, and has since put in some decent performances against top handicap opposition. She has a bit to find on official ratings, but like the selection is open to improvement. The dark horse in the line up is the German raider Corrine, who landed a decent listed contest back in August and could go close despite giving weight away all round. Goslar and Modesta are two others that have to be respected here, but the nothing really equals the form of Bowstring's run at Doncaster and she only needs to repeat that run top prevail here.
