In depth

Verdict

Don't rule out veteran Colinca's Lad in this while Aegaeus probably has the ability to win a race of this nature but often ruins his chance by pulling too hard. Dandy must go close as he's already won at Chepstow and Leicester this term, though was slightly disappointing when only second off his new mark at Brighton last time. VILLA ROYALE won easily at Catterick before finding 1m6f at Ayr a shade too far. Though he might prefer an easier surface, the top weight can resume winning ways here as Honest Deal is much better on an artificial surface and Queen's Estate is woefully out of form.
