      Verdict

      Gas Monkey has found one too good in five of his seven starts since scoring at Kempton a year ago. He's run well here and is likely to be thereabouts again. PENDO (NAP) is on a losing run but has dropped to a lowly mark as a consequence and only just failed to catch the winner at Lingfield. He's 1lb higher but looks to have every chance of returning to winning ways. Go Fox has yet to win and looks a few pounds high but Luna Magic reverted to Turf at Leicester on Saturday and ran her best race since winning here a year ago. The Night King scored at Chelmsford last month and hasn't been disgraced in better company subsequently.
