Johnny B Goode is upped in class after scoring over the course and distance three weeks ago but Gothic Empire drops down a grade after a better effort at Kempton. Snappy Guest and Cornelious are others who ran well at Kempton on their latest starts though both drop down in trip while Palenville and Semra remain unexposed and capable of better. But AWESOME QUALITY has the form in the book with a three-length victory at Newcastle a week ago and James Tate’s colt has enough scope to defy 6lb extra and go in again.
