        Herodotus Confusingly stepping right back in trip here; may find things happening too fast here and not one to take too seriously.

        Certain Justice (USA) Capable of improvement but not guaranteed to stay this trip; yet to race on truly soft surface and could be exposed by more experienced rivals today.

        Needwood Blade Improved for step up to this trip last time out on this surface and has run well here in the past; excellent chance to cap a fine season.

        Wahj (IRE) Definite chance on last two efforts on good to soft; stable star who should run well but likely to find one or two too good.

        Muchea Capable on his day and trainer's horses are running well; each-value if getting 10/1 on ground he enjoys.

        Yorkies Boy Last victory came at this track back in May; does stay 7f but could struggle at this level for out of sorts trainer.

        Kayo At his best would be hard to beat; effective 6f-8f and can handle cut; trainer in form and should run a big race.

        Lapwing (IRE) Has been difficult to place but ran his best effort last time out at Goodwood and a reproduction of that effort should see a good run; yet to race on a soft surface.

        Total Love Stepping up in trip after a couple of below par runs; has run well over this trip before and could be a lively outsider.

        Amaranth (IRE) Beat a poor field at Newcastle last time having been previously running well in defeat over this trip; trainer form is a worry and likely to find some of these too good.
