      Verdict

SHRIMPTON hasn't done much wrong and though obviously looking vulnerable after failing to score in four starts she actually showed some improvement at Windsor last time and her experience, coupled with the fillies' allowance, can see her home. The others with racecourse experience haven't shown much to date though it's certain the likes of Bachotheque, Romanoff and Salutation will improve for their debuts while Loki's Strike showed pace for a long way at Carlisle on his second start. Richard Fahey's Garswood will probably gain support on his debut but the newcomer to note here is New Rich, an expensive and speedily-bred son of Bahamian Bounty whose dam has already produced two juvenile winners from just three runners. Blaine is another to keep an eye on as he's a half-brother to the speedy Bogart.
