Thomas Cranmer won a Class 3 Musselburgh handicap from 6lb higher a year ago and bounced back at Wetherby so is greatly respected. Duck Egg Blue returned after a long break to win as she liked at Hamilton but she's up a grade and is 9lb higher while Ghayyar is up 6lb for scoring at a lower level at Carlisle. Waarif has been running well without finding a finishing burst but last year's third Dark Intention has won over 7f here and ran a fine race on a return visit last month. DESTROYER was fourth a year ago before scoring at Pontefract. He was returning to action at Carlisle last month after a long break and showed up well so gets the vote in a very competitive heat. Trinity Star gained his first victory since 2015 at Pontefract last month and though up 8lb here has to be respected.
