In depth

Formwatch

Royal Rebel Very good stayer on his day but best over further and suspicion he may be found wanting over this trip on reappearance.

Churlish Charm Third in this race last year and may be reaching peak fitness. Again has place claims, but probably best over further.

Dalampour (IRE) Progressive sort who ran well enough on reappearance behind Lucido and will prefer this trip.

Eternal Spring (IRE) Faces a very stiff task in this company.

Jardines Lookout (IRE) Progressive staying handicapper last season but very much thrown in the deep end today.

Marienbard (IRE) Good horse for Michael Jarvis last year and now visored for the first time on his debut for Godolphin. Any rain would greatly enhance his claims here, but he may just need the run according to his trainer.

Miletrian (IRE) Not the most reliable performer but a very capable stayer on her day and her best form could be good enough to win this.

Samsaam (IRE) Tends to throw in the odd below-par performance and is up against it here anyway.
