      Verdict

The well-backed Live Your Dream is first reserve so needs at least one to drop out so he can get a run. Hamish has won both previous runs over the course and distance, including the Melrose in 2019, but managed just one run last year when a couple of lengths behind Alounak in a Group 2 at Haydock. The Haggas yard also run Ilaraab, another dual course winner who found Group 2 company too hot to handle last time. FUJAIRA PRINCE was second in the Irish St Leger last year after winning this off a 6lb lower mark. He finished ahead of a number of these when third in a Group 3 over course and distance on his reappearance and, though worse off at the weights with all of them, looks to have been aimed at the race again. Mirann may prove the pick of the Irish raiders and Tribal Craft would be a threat to all if the rains arrive having chased home Wonderful Tonight at Goodwood.
