In depth

Verdict

Robjon was always in the front rank and stayed on strongly to score on fast ground at Brighton though faces different conditions here. It was also fast ground when Shaladar finished third at Doncaster three weeks ago and the runner-up has been well beaten subsequently. Hot Diggity Dog was beaten 10 lengths at Beverley though would have finished very much closer with a clear run and could prove best of these with experience. Royal Patronage is out of a middle-distance winner so will need further in time but Golden Warrior is bred for speed and is one to note though PEPPERWORT could be the one to beat. Archie Watson's horses are going well and the son of Mehmas out of a 5f two-year-old winner should have pace to burn.
