Bright Sun looks the formpick ahead of Sualda and Sporting Gesture. Bright Sun finally consented to put his head infront at Redcar earlier in the week an while that was over nine furlongs, he is equally effective over this trip. On a front-runners track, he could be very difficult to catch if positive tactics are employed by the jockey. Sualda ran a solid race to finish third here over course and distance in July. There is the suspicion he didn't quite stay but there was some cut underfoot on that occasion and it seems incomprehensible that Richard Fahey would enter him over this trip again if he believed he didn't stay it. Sporting Gesture is generally consistent over twelve furlongs and can be expected to run another game race. The draw of eight will not suit and he arguably needs to come down a few pounds before we see him off a winning mark. Charlotte Vale seems incapable of winning outside of the ridings of Yorkshire. A dual scorer at Thirsk and a winner at Pontefract, she is a credit to Micky Hammond's training operation. Lady Karr's only success came on soft going and she appeared all at sea on fast at Leicester. Richtee is another who will need to bounce back from a below par run to land this. The make-up of the race appears ideal for Bright Sun and we'll chance him to land a second prize inside a week.
