Verdict

As so often nowadays, the O'Meara team is doubly represented in a York handicap, all of which makes life difficult for the punter. Backing both is an option but Supreme Occasion looks best of the yard's pair here after a good Ascot effort last time behind Roxy Star. Richard Fahey also runs a couple of which Abbey Angel, dropped 2lb by the handicapper, makes most appeal. Mythical City racked up a hat-trick before being tailed-off at Newmarket but stable inmates have a remarkable propensity to bounce back from a bad run and she's not discounted. However, CHAIN OF DAISIES created a strong impression when making all over this trip at Sandown latest and is a filly on the up. She's been raised 9lb for that success but still rates the one to beat.
