Joakim Lagergren secured a maiden European Tour title with play-off victory over Mike Lorenzo-Vera at the Rocco Forte Sicilian Open.
Lagergren posted a three-under 68 to join overnight leader Lorenzo-Vera at 16 under, before beating the Frenchman with an eight-foot birdie at the first extra hole.
Andy Sullivan finished a shot back in a share of third alongside Lucas Herbert, who fired a joint-low round-of-the-week 63, with Lucas Bjerregaard ending the week in fifth spot.
Lagergren began the day two off the pace but surged in to contention with four birdies in a front-nine 32, as Lorenzo-Vera stuttered to the turn in level par.
The Swede failed to get up and down to save par from the sand at the 14th, as Lorenzo-Vera birdied the 17th to take the contest to extra holes.
Lorenzo-Vera's runner-up finish is his second in a row on the European Tour, having lost in the final of the GolfSixes last week.
