Tiger Woods looks set to play at The Masters after it emerged he will have a second practice round at Augusta National, sources have told Sky Sports.
The 14-time major winner flew to Georgia on Tuesday for a practice round, having not competed since February.
And the American is set to have another practice round on The Masters course ahead of next week’s event.
Sky Sports reporter James Haddock, reporting from Augusta National, said: “It’s highly unlikely we’re not going to see Tiger Woods lining up in The Masters next week.
“It appears he feels he's tournament ready now.
“Having flown up on Tuesday, he shot a 74 at Augusta National.
“Now today I’m hearing from sources he’s back on the practice range in Georgia working hard on his game and will play later today as he prepares to line up for The Masters - a course he knows like the back of his hand."
Woods announced in February he was taking an indefinite break from the sport to improve his game after shooting a career-worst round of 82 at his first tournament of 2015 in Phoenix.
