Mo Farah, Anthony Joshua, Lewis Hamilton and Chris Froome nominated for Laureus World Sports Awards

Mo Farah, Lewis Hamilton and Chris Froome are among six nominees for The Laureus World Sportsman of the Year award.
This trio of Brits are up against tennis legends Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, and Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo for the award.
During 2017, his final season on the track, Farah claimed his sixth World Championship title by winning the 10,000m in London.
Froome collected his fourth Tour de France title, and third in a row, last July before also winning the Vuelta a Espana.
Hamilton won his a fourth F1 world championship, equalling the achievements of Sebastian Vettel and Alain Prost, and he trails only Michael Schumacher and Juan Manuel Fangio, who have registered seven and five titles respectively, in the all-time standings.
He won nine Grands Prix during the 2017 season and is now Britain's most successful F1 driver.
Meanwhile, Federer and Nadal shared the four Grand Slams of 2017 between them. Federer won the Australian Open and Wimbledon titles, while Nadal triumphed at the French Open and US Open.
Ronaldo became the first man to score in three Champions League finals, as Real Madrid claimed European club football's biggest title for the third time in four seasons.
He also reached 400 career goals for Madrid and scored his fifth international hat-trick.
Two tennis players are among the six nominees in the women's category.
They are Garbine Muguruza, the reigning Wimbledon champion, and Serena Williams who secured her 23rd Slam singles success by winning in Australia.
It moved the American above Steffi Graf in the all-time list, with Williams later giving birth to her first child.
There are also two nominees for athletics - Allyson Felix and Caster Semenya.
Felix became the most decorated athlete in the history of the World Championships when she won two relay titles, taking her tally of gold medals to 11.
At the same event in London, Semenya of South Africa won gold in the 800m and bronze over 1,500m.
American skier Mikaela Shiffrin is also included, after winning 11 races to claim her first Overall World Cup title, and fourth Slalom crown in five years. She also won her third straight World Championship slalom gold.
The list is completed by swimmer Katie Ledecky who, still a teenager, holds a record total of 14 women's world titles and is also a five-time Olympic gold medallist. She is the current world record holder at 400m, 800m and 1,500m freestyle.
The six nominees for Laureus World Team of the Year, are: France (Davis Cup winners); Golden State Warriors (NBA champions); Mercedes-AMG Petronas (F1 champions); New Zealand (America's Cup winners); New England Patriots (NFL's Super Bowl winners) and Real Madrid (12-time European Cup winners).
British boxer Anthony Joshua has been nominated for the award given for World Breakthrough of the Year.
The Watford-man beat Wladimir Klitschko in April to unify the WBA 'Super' and IBF world heavyweight titles before defending his belts against Carlos Takam in October.
Also in this category are Greek basketball player Giannis Antetokounmpo, American swimmer Caeleb Dressel, Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia, footballer Kylian Mbappe from France, and Latvian tennis star Jelena Ostapenko.
The winners, as voted for by members of the Laureus World Sports Academy, will be revealed in Monaco on February 27.
