Katie Archibald won Britain's first gold medal of the Track Cycling World Championships in Hong Kong with a thrilling victory in the women's omnium.
Olympic gold medallist Archibald went into the points race, the final event of the four-discipline omnium, neck and neck with Australia's Amy Cure and she wasn't assured of victory until the final sprint.
It was Archibald's second world title after the 2014 team pursuit success in Cali, Colombia.
And she celebrated succeeding last year's champion Laura Trott - who is expecting her first child with six-time Olympic gold medallist Jason Kenny - by punching the air in delight.
"I was very close to being done for," an exhausted Archibald said after her gold medal triumph.
"I thought I wasn't going to finish at one point. I just needed to keep grinding and recover for the sprints. It came off in the end."
It was Britain's third medal of the championships after Elinor Barker's scratch race silver on day one and Chris Latham's bronze in the corresponding men's event on Thursday.
Archibald missed last year's Track World Championships in London after falling off her motorbike, but returned in time to claim Olympic gold in Rio last August.
