DX take down Jerishow

D-Generation X defeated Chris Jericho and The Big Show in a non-title main event match up on Monday Night RAW.

D-Generation X proved they have what it takes to become the unified tag team champions after they defeated Chris Jericho and The Big Show in a non-title main event match-up on Monday Night RAW.

Emotions ran high in what turned out to be a thrilling main event in which the champions took on their toughest opponents to date.

The match descended into chaos as a brawl broke out between all four men which culminated in Jericho being left alone in the ring with Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

A smart Jericho thought he had managed to evade DX by quickly leaving the ring, but his efforts to escape were in vain as guest host Ben Roesthlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line showed up to make sure Jericho wasn't going anywhere.

Upon returning to the ring, Jericho then had to endure Sweet Chin Music from the Heartbreak Kid, after which Triple H picked up the one-two-three to record a non-title victory over the unified tag team champions.

Also on RAW this week, new WWE Champion Randy Orton took to the ring to bask in the light of his latest victory over John Cena inside Hell in a Cell.

Power bomb

Cena congratulated the new champion but insisted there should be a WWE championship rematch between the two in order to end their feud altogether, a 60-minute Iron Man match.

The Viper eventually agreed to the request but insisted the match would be an Anything Goes Iron Man match but more newsworthy was the final stipulation that Orton added to the match, Cena will have to leave Monday Night RAW for good should he lose the match!

Elsewhere, The Miz got his hands on the United States championship after he executed the Skull Crushing Finale to pin Kofi Kingston in a title match he had requested earlier in the night.

MVP and The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry defeated the team of Chris Masters and Chavo Guererro whilst Jack Swagger secured victory over Primo courtesy of a gut-wrench power bomb.

The next event on the wrestling calendar is WWE Bragging Rights which will broadcast LIVE on Sky Sports on the night of Sunday October 25 and will feature the WWE championship 60-minute Iron Man match between Orton and Cena.

Nancy O'Dell and Maria Menounos from Access Hollywood will be the special guest hosts of WWE's flagship show next Monday night LIVE from 2am on Sky Sports 3 & HD3.
