Coach Paul Thompson has been forced to make three late changes to his Great Britain squad ahead of the World Championship.
Peterborough Phantoms forward Nathan Rempel has withdrawn from the travelling party, while Belfast Giants Canadian-born defenceman Shane Johnson has not received international clearance in time and Newcastle Vipers top scorer Colin Shields has broken his foot.
Sheffield forward Warren Tait, Hull defenceman Luke Boothroyd and Nottingham blueliner Danny Meyers have been called up as replacements and will now link up with the team in Coventry on Tuesday.
But it is far from ideal preparation for Thompson's men ahead of their warm up international against World under 20 silver medallists Sweden at the Skydome on Thursday.
Team GB then head to Austria where they will play the hosts, Poland, Kazakhstan, Korea and the Netherlands between April 13 and 21.
